The joke between my girlfriend and I is that if you can't find me, I'm usually out taking pictures of dirt, or cracks in the sidewalk or....something probably close to the ground or the wall. I catch a lot of flack for being at the beach and in a beautiful location and all I'm doing is focusing my camera about three inches from a piece of rotten kelp on the sand. It's kind of a, "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" mentality, but it's what gets my gears going.
